AW11 School Skyscraper Competition
The Association of Jersey Architects in partnership with The Jersey Evening Post are pleased to announce a schools competition and exhibition as part of Architecture week 2011.
The Brief: to build a skyscraper from a single copy of the JEP. The Rules use only the JEP supplied, a little bit of imagination, and limited amounts of glue and sellotape!
The Deadlines: Please register your intent to submit an entry by 27th May. Final entries must be submitted by Monday 20th June 12.00 midday to Liberty Wharf. You will be allowed two hours before deadline to reconstruct your skyscraper in the exhibition space.
The Judging: Skyscrapers will be judged by a panel consisting of representatives from the JEP and AJA. Judges will look for innovation, style, creativity as well as height!
The Prizes: There will be a Primary Trophy plus runners up certificates, and Secondary Trophy plus runners up certificates.
We are hoping for as many schools as possible to take part, so please get involved and have a go!
