Ian joined Axis Mason in 2001 and as a main board director is principally responsible for the design direction of all major projects undertaken by the practice. Ian has more than 25 years of experience in the construction industry working across a wide range of project sectors including; masterplanning, public buildings, residential, mixed use, retail, leisure and workplace projects. He has a detailed knowledge and understanding of delivering large scale and mixed use developments and particular experience at the concept design and planning stages of development projects. He develops close working relationship with planners and local authorities and his wide network of contacts and varied professional experience enables him to provide the practice with confident and direct design leadership.
