Peter Garforth / Architect

Peter graduated with a BA Hons degree in Architecture from Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) in 1994 and completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture at LJMU in 1997. Towards the end of his course Peter moved to Jersey, Channel Islands working for Nigel Biggar & Partners (NBP). Peter attained invaluable Part 2 experience on several large commercial and residential developments. Peter completed his Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Practice (Part 3) in 1999. Peter currently works at Morris Architects as a senior project architect. Projects have included a mixture of healthcare, residential, commercial and educational schemes. Notable projects include the refurbishment of the Intensive Care Unit at Jersey General Hospital and the Former Southampton Hotel redevelopment which won Projects of the Year at the Jersey Construction Council Awards in 2012 and 2016 respectively, the redevelopment of Maison St Brelade residential care home, Le Brocq classroom block at Victoria College and new commercial office buildings on Seaton Place and new Style Group Offices, St. Peter.
