POP-UP PARKLET

The AJA celebrated 60 years in 2021 and is focusing on the reimagining of St Helier, how to improve the town for all. With consultation with stakeholders and user groups, the AJA would like to encourage PARKLETS to be installed around St Helier, introducing pockets of greenery and social spaces to the town. #jerseyclimateconversation #AJA60 #reimaginingsthelier

What is a PARKLET?
A PARKLET is a structure which is the same size as a parking space, typically constructed from timber with metal framing. The parklet introduces to the street a space for planting, seating, bike storage, bike charging and even car charging.
